  • New Officers and Exec Board Elected

    New officers and Exec Board members have been chosen to lead REA! Votes were tallied online on the afternoon of March 30th, with most of the candidates logging in to observe the decryption and resulting totals of the electronic ballots.

    Those who were elected took office immediately, and are as follows:

    President: Mary Jo McLaughlin
    Vice President: Miriam Hogley
    Treasurer: Bradley Clark
    Secretary: Alex Castro
    At-Large Rep: Bridgett Kawachi
    Ethnic Minority Rep: Yusuf Saadat
    Primary Rep: Susan DuFresne
    Intermediate Rep: Julianna Dauble
    Middle School Rep: Margaret Saelens
    High School Rep: Susan Hoover
    Special Services Rep: Maria Herrnandez

  • Spring Rep Elections!

    REA members will be receiving a message to their personal email addresses on May 4th, announcing the opening of nominations for Building Rep positions. The message will contain information about the election timeline, the number of positions open at each school, and a link to an online nomination form. Nominations close on May 11th.   • Cancelled: Special Education Law and Advocacy

    This, and other WEA trainings and conferences, has been cancelled due to concerns related to the COVID-19 virus. WEA will reassess the situation in early April and perhaps this training will be rescheduled.
