INDIANAPOLIS---The NCAA Division I Field Hockey Committee announced today the teams that will compete in the 2025 NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship. Ten conferences were awarded automatic qualification. The four lowest ranked automatic-qualification teams will compete in two opening round games. The remaining six automatic-qualification teams were placed in the bracket.

The following conferences and their representatives received an automatic qualification:

The remaining eight teams that were selected at-large (listed alphabetically) include: UConn (11-8), Duke (12-7), Harvard (17-1), Iowa (14-5), Syracuse (12-6), Virginia (16-2), Wake Forest (15-4) and Yale (12-5).
Opening round games will be played on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at two of the first- and second round sites. First- and second-round games will be played on four campus sites Friday, Nov. 14 and Sunday, Nov. 16. All preliminary round contests will be on ESPN+. Duke University will host the national semifinals on Friday, Nov. 21 and the championship final on Sunday, Nov. 23 at Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium in Durham, North Carolina. The semifinals will be broadcast at Noon and 2:30 p.m. on Eastern time on ESPNU and the championship game will be broadcast at 1 p.m. Eastern time on ESPNU.
